About Elsewhere on Wheels
Elsewhere on Wheels (EOW) is an enduro and adventure motorcycling brand, providing rider conditioning and development, running inclusive adventure tours for everyone, and offering a bunch of rider clinics and coaching to support riders in Darwin, Northern Territory (Australia) - and feature clinics and tours in South Australia, Queensland, Victoria - and now South East Asia!
The many arms to the EOW operation are designed to create safe and welcoming spaces for everyone.
Going on adventures as a skilled, confident rider comes from consistent, focused and purposeful development. Our supported tours and coaching provide opportunities for riders to live their wildest, most adventurous dreams!
EOW is a proud member of the Welcome Here Project
Have you ever dreamed of taking a motorcycle trip across the yonder? Epic adventures are more achievable that you think - with the right support. Adventures should be attainable to everyone and at EOW we love providing riders with the support they need to turn dreams into reality. The only pre-requisite is an adventurous spirit.
The All Women Simpson Desert Crossing runs once per year. Open to all Simpson Desert Crossings also run at various times of the year. Check out our desert tours for the latest.
We're always coming up with new ideas for grand adventures. Subscribe to the EOW newsletter to be the first to know when new tours launch. Got a suggestion for an epic tour you think needs an EOW touch? Contact us!
When you have the skills and confidence, adventures that you only could've dreamed of become possible.
Skills and confidence are best built incrementally, in safe, controlled and supportive environments. Building the skills does not need to involve pushing beyond our physical or mental limits and should not be frightening or disheartening.
With EOW, learning the skills and going on all the adventures is an enjoyable process that leaves us feeling confident and inspired to keep developing as riders, no matter our level of experience.
EOW conditioning programs are designed to grow better off-road trail, enduro or adventure riders, no matter your riding background, your current physical fitness level or age. EOW programs are suitable for all genders, but are designed with female-specific programming in mind, which is where the current market just doesn't cut it.
Good rider development involves growing bike skills and building physical capabilities. The two go hand in hand. The most effective development should emulate and prepare us for real world situations. EOW rider conditioning programs provide focused, intentional and informed training to do exactly that. Rider conditioning will help you ride longer, go on more adventures, be more competitive, and generally get more out of your riding.
I have tried, tested, lived and breathed the EOW approach, which I believe encapsulates the best aspects of rider development and is a winning formula to rapidly develop riders.
The EOW "fist" logo represents all things that the brand stands for.
Put your fist on the throttle and give it the beans! It's that carefree moment of pure joy and the wind in your hair!
A fist is also an expression of solidarity to a cause. EOW stands by female and gender diverse riders. We all have the right to be ourselves and be included in life on two wheels. Be visible, be proud. We are united by a passion for two-wheeled adventures.
A fist is also empowerment. Develop the skills, put in the work, go on adventures with confidence. Gender, age, size and experience are not pre-requisites of living a big, adventurous life. Attitude and skill defines great riders. Anything is possible if you are willing to work for it. Do the work and be empowered for adventure.
A fist is also a big, silly fist bump! Is there anything better than finally riding to the top of that big hill, or watching a fellow rider finally conquer that skill they've been working on? And we celebrate with fist bumps all round! It connects us, it lifts one another up. So keep building the skills and having the adventures and enjoy all the fist bumps your knuckles can take!
